What you’ll be doing
- You will own the budget for OEM/Industrial sales in your territory
- Responsible for driving sales culture and market share growth of the Industrial/OEM and Institutional business
- Ensures profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of Account Managers. Sets objectives, strategies and sales plans to improve short and long-term sales earnings
- Drive a culture of sales, customer retention, new business, and customer acquisition strategies within team
- Recruit, train, and motivate team to achieve sales goals and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts
What you bring to the table
- 10 years Sales Leadership, coaching and mentoring experience technical sales staff
- Strong experience with Sales Operations, Vendor Relations and Talent Management
- Demonstrates Sales Acumen through influence, negotiation, and closing deals
- Capacity to analyze sales data, market trends, and business performance
- Strategically minded with strong presentation, communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong technical knowledge and solid understanding of the Industrial/OEM markets
- Strong communication, presentation and relationship building skills
- Post-secondary education in an Electrical related discipline
- Experience with CRMs
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office

What you’ll be doing
• Manage assigned accounts, across the territory Vaughan maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and sales and product support for all products
• Identify and target sales opportunities within assigned geographical area. Work primarily with Partners, Manufacturers, Product Managers, Resource Managers and Automation Specialists
• Grow all aspects of our client’s offering within customer base with emphasis on Primary and Secondary goals as given by Management
• Develop and execute an annual Sales/business plan for assigned accounts
• Provide detailed and accurate quotes and proposals to meet customers’ requirements
• Utilize CRM to maximize efficiency throughout our sales process
• Follow up on quotes/opportunities/proposals using defined Sales process with customers to ensure maximum success ratio
• Establish pricing levels within accounts with the assistance of Resource Managers, Product Managers, Automation Specialists and Vendors
• Consult with customers to identify new opportunities and follow up on Sales leads
• Make joint calls with manufacturer’s representatives, as required
• Resolve any customer problems as they arise
• Participate in and attend meetings, including Sales meetings, annual planning meetings, etc.
What you bring to the table
• Post-secondary education from a technical program (i.e.) Electrical, Computer, Mechanical discipline
• 3 years (min) Industrial or Automation experience (OEM, industrial) in a sales capacity
• Experience in Electrical Supplies Sales
• Must have a proven track record of Sales (Electrical Wholesale industry preferred)
• Strategically minded with strong presentation, communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong technical knowledge and solid understanding of the Industrial/OEM markets

- Own the candidate experience by proactively sourcing talent, building strong talent pipelines, and conducting structured, behavioural interviews.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, source effectiveness) to continuously improve hiring outcomes.
- Proactively source and engage passive candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, career fairs, industry and alumni associations, and targeted outreach
- Coordinate summer positions/university/college Co-Op recruitment cycles.
- Manage offers, negotiations, and onboarding to ensure a smooth and positive experience for candidates and hiring leaders

- 5+ years of hands-on recruitment experience, ideally in a growth-oriented or multi-locations environment
- Use structured interview tools and scoring methods to support objective hiring decisions
- Maintain accurate recruitment data and reporting using the ATS (ADP WorkForceNow is an asset)
- Proven success with recruiting technical, specialized, or sales-driven roles (engineering, automation, industrial, or technical sales experience is a strong asset)
